  • Hi Billy. Thanks for your explanations. Just a question regarding the settings. If I want to render in 4K, do I need to set my timeline resolution in 4k at the beginning of the project ? Or can I set a Full HD and then render the project in 4K ? Thank you very much for your asnwer. Keep up the great work, you're my favorite editer on Youtube so far ! Greetings from France. Alex

  • Even if I render my video with a very high bit rate, it still comes out really pixelated when I upload it to youtube – any idea why this might be happening? I shot in Blackmagic raw and exported at 1080p with it set to restrict to 100,000kb (because any lower didn't work either)…

  • video is helpful but you are still setting the bitrate wrong, youtube suggests 35-45 Mbps for a 4k clip to get the best quality possible which should be equal to about 35000 – 45000 Kb/s, Pushing it to 100000 Kb/s is still too much and ends up in compressing your video a lot more than usual.

  • Hello I have an issue! I’m stuck! I can’t export in 1920 by 1080 because I still have the black lines on the bottom and top, even dough my timeline is in 1920 x 1080. The footage is blackmagic raw 4k. Please help

  • Nice tutorial!. I'm shooting some aerial footage on a GoPro Hero 8 at 4K cinema wide 24fps and importing to Resolve 16.2.3 for just simple edits (Xdissolve, fades/dissolves). What are the very best delivery setting for render and ouput to a fast USB 2.3C(Thunderbolt drive) so that I can later watch the finished video on my Samsung 4K tv?
